TTEC6315 Automotive Professional Practice WEEK 14

week 14
30th may 2014

This week was really a good week for me as in the last week i was little confuse to start with my assessment 2, but this week Mr. David clear all doubts I had in my mind. Mr David explained us how a workshop business are connected with other organisation, also explained how ethical practice contributes in this and many more knowledgeable things he discussed with us for example he told us importance of  "Treaty Of Waitangi". From this class I really learnt that how a workshop is connected to many other businesses and how all other organisation runs with staying connected. And this also helps us to run a sustainable business in future with getting organised to all other organisations and things which comes on the path of making a success in your business.

TTEC6315 Automotive Professional Practice WEEK 13

week 13
23rd May 2014

The week went little busy with the other subjects assessment but still i read the assessment package for our Automotive professional and try to understand the second part on which we need to go little more dipper and need to work individually. In this we need to investigate financial, insurance, advertising, legal, accounting service and other professional organisations that compliment the automotive industry. But on the other side it was little confusing for me so thought of meeting Mr.David in next class and clear it all.

TTEC6315 Automotive Professional Practice WEEK 12

week12
16th May 2014
As this week starting from the last Monday 12th may 2014 me and my group mate Daniel had a group  discussion with Mr.David and where we got to know about the "TREATY OF WAITANGI", which  we did not refer in our assessment  and I think Mr David was really supportive to tell us that and tell us that how important is it,  which I never knew before.
Being true it was really good to know about it as I was surprised that we did not knew about it before.
All Thank-you to Mr.David and Unitec lecturers as they are building ous for our better future.

TTEC6315 Automotive Professional Practice WEEK 11

week 11
9th may 2014
Today was the discussion day as we got to know when we came uni, and it was really helpful i think as all the class was in group together and with our course lecturer. We discussed how business works and also discussed how it works to make it run good and successfully. Whereas Mr.David also asked us what we felt and how we think about the way business works and also comparing it with New Zealand legislation. Me and my group mate participated in the conversation, as we described what we felt.
Some where Automotive Professional Practice helped me alot to understand the real world.

TTEC6315 Automotive Professional Practice WEEK 9

week 9
25th April 2014
As the summer break was going so we thought of meeting up, to discuss little on the workshop as to see our learning outcomes from our first assessment and which was really interested as we both point out some things which we found was not the way they should be for example the first aid kit was in the reception cabinet instead of being in the workshop and should be visible to everyone easily during any misshapen.

TTEC6315 Automotive Professional Practice WEEK 7

Week 7-11th April 2014

In week 7 we interviewed Mr Lee (owner of Tiger Motors) to get more insight into his business. which we planned to attach with our assessment 1st as interview transcript. And it cleared a good picture of tiger motors too. Somewhere this subject really help us to see the real world as we walked into the business, observed the way they work and also getting the picture on this side to check with legislation's. As legislation want a proper way of working as it can be dangerous to work without safety shoes or checking other health and safety things.

TTEC6315 Automotive Professional Practice

Week 3
(14/03/14)

Today was the due date for our proposal which me and my group mate Daniel did together, but unfortunately when we entered the class we were told from mates that we need to write it down individual which was a shocking news for me as well as Daniel. We talked to Mr.David about this that we made one proposal in group, it was not done intentionally from us but was just a team work which we were doing together, so we made one proposal in group and were not aware of doing individual. So he asked us that it is all good, just mention that it is done in group which gave us good relief and was finally submitted.
After this class me and Daniel went to the workshop named Tiger Motors which is located in the East Auckland. And met Mr.Lee the owner of the workshop and told him about our course. but as he was too busy that day so he asked us to visit next week and he was happy to allow us to work on his workshop.

TTEC6315 Automotive Professional Practice WEEK 2

WEEK 2 (7/03/14)

It was the first day for me in this class as i just changed one paper and jumped into Automotive Professional practice.
We met our lectures Mr.Niranjan Singh and Mr.David Clarke, they both look too helpful. After getting handout we discussed the things we have to do in this course. First thing was to be in group maximum of 2 people and i met my last semester mate Daniel. Then we were told about the blog that we have to do that every week so as to tell in what progress our we. And were asked to make study proposal and email to Mr.Niranjan by 14/03/2014 with our blog address.
The first assignment is the group assignment in which we have to find the workshop make a bit research on it, based on health and safety, management, etc, its all about inside the workshop, There are two parts of the course, the first part needs a team mate, and the second part is individual. I find out this course is good because we can learn a lot from the research we make, maybe one day we will have our own business.
